Properties Folder
The Properties folder in Solution Explorer contains two files which contain project types and project resources:
ImportTypesMap.resx - Contains a list of types that have been imported to the project through either the Manage Import Types or Manage Import Projects function.
Resources.resx - Contains source code stored in obfuscated format for the solution.
Right-clicking on either of these files displays these options:

Selecting this option opens the file in the Designer. The information presented in the Designer for the ImportTypesMap.resx or Resources.resx file is for information only and should not be edited. |
Properties |
Selecting this option displays the file properties in the Properties window:
