Properties Folder

The Properties folder in Solution Explorer contains two files which contain project types and project resources:

ImportTypesMap.resx - Contains a list of types that have been imported to the project through either the Manage Import Types or Manage Import Projects function.
Resources.resx - Contains source code stored in obfuscated format for the solution.

Right-clicking on either of these files displays these options:

Selecting this option opens the file in the Designer.

The information presented in the Designer for the ImportTypesMap.resx or Resources.resx file is for information only and should not be edited.

Properties

Selecting this option displays the file properties in the Properties window:
