Global Container

Use the Global Container project item to contain Studio components which are used in multiple automations in a project. For example, you would add a variable to a global container if its value is used in several automations.

Adding a component to the global container accomplishes the same thing as adding the component to the Global tab of an individual automation. In both cases the component is displayed in Object Explorer and is available for use in any of the project automations.

Note: If, however, the automation that contains the component is deleted, then all references to the component become invalid in other automations.
